The Fondation Jean Dausset – CEPH in Paris and the National Genotyping Center (CNG) in Evry (France) are involved in a world-class functionnal genomics research to determine the genetic variants and their functionnal implication in major diseases, using the latest large-scale genomics technologies. Both institutes are involved in large projects funded at the national and european level (national program in cancer genomics : lung cancer and kidney cancer, liver cancer, breast cancer, Alzheimer diseases and psychiatric related diseases, asthma and related inflammatory diseases and metabolic diseases). To support the growth of their translational research, both institutes are looking for:
   senior assistant Bioinformaticians,
   senior associate Bioinformaticians,
in the field of Biostatistics.

The senior biostatisticians will have a major responsibility with respect to program development for clinical and translational sciences, through collaborative projects in relation with major medical schools and medical institutes. They will be responsible for taking a leading role in support of research design, epidemiology and biostatistics efforts in all programs of the Statistical Department in both institutes, including oversight of junior biostatisticians, graduate students and post-docs.

The junior biostatisticians will be responsible for:
   the accuracy and completeness of statistical analysis conducted for assigned projects,
   quality controls,
   applying new statistical procedures,
   preparing statiscal summary reports,
   creating and maintainig biostatistics files for each assigned project.


Qualifications and experience

Senior associate biostatisticians : Ph.D. in statistics, biostatistics or related field with at least 4/6 years of relevant experience.
Senior assistant biostatisticians : Ph.D en statistics or related field with at least 3-4 years of relevant experience;
Junior biostatiscians : MS in statistics, biostatistics or related field with at least 2-4 years of experience of relevant experience.
